Verde Saltan Marble, brushed*.
Marble is becoming a more popular choice for kitchen counter tops. Because marble is a "softer" material it will not perform like granite. It will scratch. It could stain and marble will definitely age over time (decades) getting darker in color. If you want your counter tops to shine and look pristine years after it is installed marble is NOT for you. BUT if you like a material with lots of character that "ages" well consider using marble.
*A brushed finish means that marble surface was brushed with steel and then polished so that the material has a fine texture that requires lots of touching.

A fabrication issue required Refined Stone to bring in extra material to complete a kitchen project. There are many square feet of stone left over. Definitely enough to complete a medium sized kitchen including a FREE double bowl undermount sink.
